Transportation Options

Packet Pick-up Transportation Options

Public Transportation

Public transportation is highly encouraged. The Roosevelt Collection is accessible from the following CTA lines:

  • Red/Green/Orange Line Trains – Take the Roosevelt Station stop. Walk west on Roosevelt Rd. 1.5 blocks.  Turn right on S. Delano Ct.
  • #12 Roosevelt Bus – Take the Roosevelt & Delano stop.
  • #29 State Bus – Take the State & Roosevelt stop.  Walk west on Roosevelt Rd. 1.5 blocks. Turn right on S. Delano Ct.

Parking

Parking is available at the Roosevelt Collection parking garage.  We recommend parking on P2 in the Red/North section and taking the elevator up to the plaza to get to Packet Pick-up. The cost of parking will be reimbursed for event staff and key volunteers. Please inquire about reimbursement when you arrive at Volunteer Check-In. 

Please note that parking on S. Delano Ct. outside of Packet Pick-up is not allowed. This is strictly enforced by cameras and will result in a parking ticket. Parking validation will require you to know your license plate number, so please be prepared to provide that information when requesting validation. 

Soldier Field Transportation Options

Public Transportation

Soldier Field is easily accessible by the CTA Red, Green and Orange Lines at the Roosevelt Station (3/4 mile walk to stadium entrance). CTA bus route #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express provides a connection from Roosevelt Station to the stadium entrance on McFetridge Drive from Memorial Day to Labor Day. CTA bus route #130 Museum Campus provides service from downtown Metra stations to Soldier Field, Adler Planetarium and Northerly Island. Parking

Event site parking is available by request for event day Saturday, July 11. Request must be submitted through this form. Confirmation and assigned location will be provided after review, beginning July 6. Requests received after July 6 will be reviewed and processed within 48 hours, no later than July 10.

Course Transportation Options

Public transportation

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) offers an economical and convenient way to check out all Chicago has to offer. For information on CTA fares and transit directions to and from the event, visit transitchicago.com.

Parking

Please reach out to your Captain to discuss parking options.


Expense Reimbursement Policy

The event will provide meals during required work shifts at Packet Pick-up and Soldier Field. Staff working onsite when meals are provided who decide to forgo the provided meal are not eligible to receive reimbursement. If staff are required to be onsite during a time when meals are not provided or work duties require an individual to miss the meal provided, reimbursement will be provided as follows: up to $15 for breakfast, up to $20 for lunch, up to $35 for dinner. A receipt must be submitted to receive the reimbursement.

Event staff payments

In keeping with best practices, it is our policy to collect a new, completed Form W-9, Request for Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Certification, every three years. If you are new to the event or have moved since the last time you worked with us, please complete a W-9.  

Return your completed W-9 via email to eventstaff@cemevent.com or to the Race Office race weekend.  If we have your completed W-9 on file by the event, you can expect to receive your payment within 30 days of the event (Monday, August 10, 2026).  


Check-In Information

Event staff and key volunteers are required to check in at one of the Aid Stations, Packet Pick-up Volunteer Check-In or the Race Office at Soldier Field before reporting to their event roles. Your race week confirmation email will confirm specific details
