Event information

When and where

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon will take place in Grant Park on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Medical volunteer shifts are from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Race day information

Medical Program Check-in (please note the change in location from past years)

Medical Volunteer Check-in is located at Harrison Street and Michigan Avenue (Gate #7)

To check-in through security on race day, each volunteer must bring:

1. Confirmation email (via phone or print out)
2. Photo ID

Volunteers without these items will experience significant delays in the check-in process.

At check-in, Medical Program volunteers will receive a jacket, hat and bib (if applicable) corresponding to their role. Volunteers assigned to course locations will receive transportation from Medical Volunteer Check-in to their assignment locations with their designated lead.
